Adeleye Opejin

Scientist II

Adeleye, an immunologist committed to advancing accessible rejuvenative immunotherapies, is driven by the belief that affordability and availability will spark a transformative era, akin to historical breakthroughs like the internet and antibiotics. Formerly at Notch Therapeutics, he spearheaded research in anti-tumor CAR/TCR-T cell development using iPSC-derived hematopoietic progenitor cells. Adeleye holds degrees from Calvin University and completed doctoral research on transcriptional and innate-immune regulation of regulatory T cells under Daniel Hawiger’s mentorship at Saint Louis University. His postdoctoral work at Roswell Park Cancer Center and the University of Manitoba explored the regulation of anti-tumor immunity in squamous cell carcinomas and chronic lymphocytic leukemia. Beyond the lab, Adeleye, an avid soccer player, eagerly anticipates the next World Cup.
