Arjun Jain

Graduate Research Fellow

Arjun joined Retro as a Graduate Research Fellow in August 2023 after completing his undergraduate degree at Penn in Biophysics and Biochemistry, with a minor in Computational Neuroscience. During that time, Arjun researched the catecholamine modulation of aversive learning under John Dani at the Perelman School of Medicine and has experience in optogenetic manipulation, neural signal processing, and stereotactic surgeries. Previously, he worked in labs studying actin dynamics during coronaviral infection and bacterial co-culture antibiotic production. As an Eagle Scout, Arjun loves being outdoors, and you can find him hiking or occasionally scuba diving on the weekends.
