Di Hu

Autonomous Research Scientist

Di conducted their doctorate in early mouse embryogenesis and single cell biology on a full Clarendon Scholarship at the University of Oxford where they served as MCR president. They were then postdoc in germ cell epigenetic reprogramming at London Institute of Medical Sciences, followed by postdoc in single cell epigenetic technology development at Imperial College London where they received an Impact Accelerator Award. They first met members of the Retro team at a LessDeath Longevity Camp, which they attended on a VitaDAO fellowship. Now they combine their background to develop low cost single cell multi-omic technologies and adapt assays for large scale automation. They also make electronic music and put on events.
